Associate membership

The intention of the network is to connect exceptional architecture talent with the organisations that need them. In some circumstances this may be through Solution Architects; in others it may be directly with the organisation, depending on the needs of both the organisation and the architect. You are under no obligation to accept any role we may identify as a good match, and you may choose not to be considered for employment opportunities.

Solution Architects’ core business is architecture consulting. We do recruit to fill consulting roles, and we can also assist clients in identifying talent with very specific skillsets, permanent talent, or talent that may not fit the architecture-as-a-service model, for example part-time. We request your CV for verification and interview processes if needed, but at no point is any CV shared with a client without your prior approval.

No. Depending on your membership level and capability, SA may contact you about opportunities to support client and SA architecture delivery needs. You will be under no obligation to accept any role.

Associate is designed for architects early in their career, or technology professionals transitioning into architecture. It includes unlimited access to all publicly available SA Academy courses and a monthly mentoring session. Professional is targeted at more experienced architects who may not need mentoring or who are already familiar with the course content. Both tiers are still considered for potential architecture roles we are looking to fill.

The SA Academy is SA’s hub for courses, training and coaching. SA maintains its architecture quality assurance through the Academy, and it also underpins the Architecture Practice Support engagements we run with clients.

Our mentors are all senior architects working in industry with real-world experience. Sessions are scheduled at a time that suits you and your mentor. The mentor’s role is to provide architecture career advice and help you perform your role to the best of your capability. As an Associate member you can also request additional coaching or mentoring at a 5% discount.
